"Shaping the future" - that´s the device of the SFZ since more than 10 years. According to this goal, we aim at identifying relevant future developments, at providing orientation knowledge and at creating scopes for active future shaping.

Our interdisciplinary scientific team delivers fundamental as well as practical research results and advises key actors from politics, economy and society. In order to reach the public, the SFZ disseminates its results in events, lectures and publications.
